Cervinia chalets

Breuil-Cervinia is one of the most famous skiing resorts of the Alps.
The plants are linked with those of Zermatt, the Matterhorn on the Swiss side, and those of Valtournenche, forming one large ski area (over 200 km of slopes), called Matterhorn Ski Paradise.
Due to the altitude of the district (2.000-3.500 meters on the side of Cervinia, but it goes up to 3.900 meters with the Switzerland plants), the ski season starts from early November finishing to early May.
It is also possible to practices summer skiing on the slopes of the Plateau Rosa glacier, using plants in Switzerland.
Among the most recent note cableway installations Cime Bianche - Plateau Rosa, built in the early 90s, covering a vertical drop of 700 meters with a single span with 2 cabins with capacity of 140 people each.
The first cable car was built in 1936, reaching the Plateau Rosa and was the highest in the world.
In summer you can play golf at the Matterhorn Golf Club, one of the courses located at higher altitudes in the world (with its 2.050 m), and founded in 1955.
During the winter months the route of the golf course becomes a ski trail.
